After a week you don't need to apply it so much, just a very thin layer up to 3 times a day max. Use something plain and unscented if you feel that it is iyching, I don't know any Aussie brands sorry, but there is always something out there plain and unscented. Or get another type of nappy rash cream, that's what bepanthon is so I guess any brand would work.

Aquaphor, Bacitracin, A&D ointment, or you can use Lubiderm, or any other unscented hand lotion. I heal mine up dry, with a little bactine, but everyone's got their own method. No Polysporin, Neosporin, cause they are more than a single antibiotic, and might cause the skin to reject pigment. No Vaseline, cause it can't breathe, and sometimes will contribute to rejecting color. Just use a veeery thin coating of whatever you decide on, and keep it clean by very lightly washing it with the tips of your fingers. Don't rub, just touch, and pat dry. Then apply lotion. Take care!

I dont' live in Australia so I don't know if you have this, but I always used Lubriderm non scented lotion. I've had friends that used things like A&D ointment which even some tattoo shops recommend but I wouldn't. It's sort of jelly like and it seems to soak out a little of the ink. Use a non scented lotion. Don't put too much. But keep it moist and not dry. Good luck.

Umm... I'm not too familiar with Australian cream. I can recommend American creams such as Lubriderm. I've heard Vaseline works but I don't trust it. Again these might be just American only brands. Sorry. Good luck.

Answer mine please:

ive always used polysporian cream for my tattos however i find that any hand lotion will work fine ur really using it to keep the tattoo softer so as it will heal better then getting hard itchy and cracking and casing large scabs to form usually after a week ive found that my tats have been pretty much healed
