Best way to remove tattoo ink smudges?
I had a large black and grey lower back piece yesterday and I still have a lot of smudges from where he wiped the ink away that haven’t come off after thorough washing. I know it’ll fade in time but anything I can use to get it off now, that’s safe to put near a fresh tattoo area?

The only safe thing to put near a healing tattoo that may work is fragrance-free soap.
Honestly that is all I have ever needed to get that stuff off.
Don’t get in a hurry for your new tattoo to look perfect.
After a few washings the smudges will be gone…
Don’t take chances with your investment…Use only
soap and water for washing…There are a million ways
to cause an infection and only one way it’s going to end.
Caution at this point is your best bet…If you find you just
can’t stand it…..Call your artist for his advice…

Mix a little bit of alcohol in water, not much. About one part to three. That should do it. If you have to rub too close to the tattoo, leave it alone.
