The best time to remove a tattoo?

I just got a tattoo yesterday and now i have come to the harsh reality that i do not want it… so i was wondering what amount of time is the best time to remove a tattoo? is an old tattoo easier to remove than a new one?

The best time to remove it is right BEFORE you get it. Otherwise I would think the newer the better, while the ink is fresh
