Tattoo artist(LOL) was high huh.

I’ve heard they don’t work, but why don’t you go to somebody reputable and have them do a coverup.

I saw wrecking balm on ‘Deal Or Dud’ on a local news station and the final verdict was: DUD! It is simply an exfoliant and does not remove the deep ink, and from the test they did after a month there was no improvement, so they called and the company said to use more product. They did give the full refund they promised though. I think if you want a cheap solution contact a dermatologist.

Yeah, Wrecking Balm and other tattoo removal creams only remove 1 thing – money from your wallet. You have 3 options at this point – 1) you simply just live with it. It makes for a good story. 2) You can get laser removal treatments for as cheap as $50 per visit per inch. Usually removes the ink completely within 6 treatments, or 3) get a tattoo to cover it up.

They don’t work. They can’t penetrate deep enough.

I would sue the artist. That is completely unacceptable. I hope he at least comped the tattoo.

Anyway, really the only feasible way to get rid of it is with several laser treatments (which are not guaranteed to remove it completely) or to have it physically removed from your skin.

Sorry, but tatoos are permanent even this day in age; even laser and other cutting-edge treatments available from dermatologists are not very effective at removing or fading tatoo ink. The OTC topical applications are a waste of money and time it takes to apply them regularly, and–even worse–many of them will cause painful skin irritation/chemical burns.

If there were an effective tatoo removal cream or any other method of getting rid of unwanted ink, then it would be huge best-seller, a blockbuster, and it would make headlines–there is a HUGE potential market for tatoo removal method that really worked. You’d already know about it, in that case, believe me.

Your best bet is to get a skilled ink artist to cover it up. Hopefully, the blemish on your arm can be made into something you can be happy with long-term. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this! Good luck1
